Test and Evaluation

Effective testing and evaluation is an extremely cost-effective way to ensure that a part, component, computer solution—even a satellite—works and that problems are identified and fixed before going into final production.

To assess systems from software solutions and the smallest electromechanical component to entire aircraft, ARINC offers an extensive array of test and evaluation services.

For example, in the area of computer solutions, ARINC developed and operates the Army Interoperability Network (AIN), which supports the development, testing, integration, and certification of command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, electronic warfare & sensors (C4IEW&S) systems. Solution developers at widely dispersed locations share information electronically, identify and solve subtle interoperability issues early in the design process, and avoid the need to ship solution software and hardware components to a central facility. ARINC also tests, evaluates, and integrates computer solutions for government agencies and the military at our fully certified government test and integration facility.

On the hardware side, ARINC operates fabrication and test facilities that can prototype, fabricate, integrate, and test a variety of electrical and mechanical hardware used in commercial and military applications. On a larger scale, our aircraft integration and testing services can test and evaluate extremely complex aircraft systems or entire craft, including helicopters and large commercial transports. We'll perform exhaustive individual system functional and interoperability testing to confirm that all systems work properly. We'll also test those systems under harsh, simulated environmental conditions.

That's not all. We offer satellite testing, automatic test systems, independent verification and validation services, and complete in-flight testing services.

Whatever it is, large or small, ARINC can test it—and tell you how to fix any problems.
