Littoral Warfare
Support
Seventy-five percent of the world's population lives within 100 miles
of a coastline. The mission of the United States Navy Littoral Warfare
program is to maintain a dominant presence in the littorals, notwithstanding
the enormous scope of the arena. To do this, the Navy identifies the
geographic areas around the world where they envision conducting their
most likely littoral missions. In addition, the transition of their
strategic focus from open-ocean warfighting to littoral warfare requires
the development of entirely new ships, systems, and processes that
can deliver enhanced capability, flexibility, and mobility.
The ARINC team is working with the U.S. Navy to meet this exciting
challenge by providing responsive, high-quality design, development,
integration, test, and logistics support for their littoral warfare
systems. Our full spectrum of services includes prototyping and system
development, fleet support and life-cycle management, sea operations
support, vulnerability and susceptibility testing, and training.
