Multi-User System Environment (MUSE®)

Airport personnel need access to complete, accurate passenger and flight data to provide efficient service. Up until now, operators and airlines usually got this information from separate systems, with complex interfaces, multiple databases, and redundant information technology (IT) infrastructure and applications. With ever-tightening budgets, this duplication is becoming more difficult to justify.

Airport check inARINC's Multi-User System Environment (MUSE®) solution addresses both issues by leveraging existing IT assets as much as possible, while enabling multiple airlines and airport support operations to use the same basic information system. This eliminates complicated interfaces and reduces the need for redundant resources. From ticketing to baggage handling to rental car and hotel reservations, MUSE accommodates everything through one system—accessible from a single workstation.

On Time IFIS ScreenFor maximum investment protection, MUSE is fully compatible with your existing industry-standard workstations, printers, readers, and LANs. It can easily be scaled to handle even the largest international airport needs. For example, London's Heathrow International Airport, one of the world's busiest, uses MUSE to speed communications and data flow between airlines, the airport operator, and other support organizations. And ARINC completed the installation in just 120 working days!

ARINC also offers a browser-based version—i MUSE™—that supports both IP and legacy systems using either desktop or handheld terminals.
