The Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) for systems and software is a process improvement framework that organizations can use to improve their ability to build and maintain quality products and services. Developed by the Software Engineering Institute (SEI), CMMI is also a set of best practices that addresses productivity, performance, costs, and stakeholder satisfaction.

As an SEI Partner, ARINC has Lead Appraisers and Authorized Trainers on staff. ARINC is authorized to conduct CMMI Appraisals (SCAMPI: A, B, and C) and to provide the full 3-day SEI training course, Introduction to the CMMI. Our staff is also certified to Levels 2 and 3, with expertise in using integrated-model processes to perform major engineering development projects, both in-house and for our customers.
