Enhanced Logbook Automation System (ELAS)/Web-Based Aircraft Systems Analysis (WebASA)ARINC can help you automate your government or commercial aviation maintenance processes and save time and money, without sacrificing quality. We do this by implementing two proven electronic data applications: ARINC ELAS (Enhanced Logbook Automation System) and ARINC WebASA (Web-Based Aircraft Systems Analysis).ELAS is a paperless solution developed for the U.S. Army to help streamline their aircraft maintenance activities. It uses a Microsoft® Access database to manage a comprehensive repository of fleet data for aircraft, flight line, hangar, and maintenance shop processes. The distributed database provides full data redundancy. ELAS provides full fleet visibility, enables one-time data entry, and allows user-driven archiving and purging of old data. The full application can be deployed on a laptop computer. And data are easily migrated to the database from the field via floppy disk or modem. ARINC's WebASA tool provides easy browser-based, point-and-click access to ELAS data from any location. Analysts can query the ELAS repository in any number of ways, compile ELAS data across the entire fleet to determine overall fleet readiness, and evaluate aircraft component configuration, maintenance trends and status, part and serial number installationand much more. The web browser is also used to generate a variety of reports. Together, ARINC's ELAS and WebASA solutions enable you to:
