Airfield Lighting and Control System (AFLCS)

Airfield lighting control is an integral part of everyday operations at air traffic control (ATC) facilities. They need reliable, easy-to-use, and budget-conscious systems to operate at their peak. ARINC designs and customizes Airfield Lighting and Control Systems for shore-based U.S. Navy and Marine Corps ATC, providing configurable Windows-based platforms and graphic touch-screen displays designed for the specific needs of each facility.

AFLCS gives controllers one-touch control of entire circuits of lights, equipment status screens, and airfield-specific features. It’s available as a stand-alone system for smaller airfields, or as a fully integrated Visual Information Display System (VIDS) for larger ones, utilizing redundant architecture to achieve unprecedented availability.
