ARINC Opens New Miami Office for Customers in Latin America and Caribbean

Annapolis, Maryland—ARINC Incorporated has selected Miami, FL as the Latin American Gateway for its GLOBALink^SM voice and data communications services, flight operations services, and installation and maintenance services. The company today opened its new Gateway Office at 5200 Blue Lagoon Drive, a mile south of Miami International Airport.

“The Miami office will greatly strengthen ARINC’s regional presence and allow us to better support our fast-expanding base of customers in Latin America and the Caribbean,” stated Ron Hawkins, ARINC Vice-President, Commercial Aviation Solutions. “Focusing ARINC’s regional Account Management Operations and infrastructure here will streamline our service delivery and strengthen our relationship with the region’s airlines, airports, and other aerospace-related enterprises.”

Miami has grown into the leading business center for Latin American airlines and other aviation industry organizations. Miami International Airport is now the main North American hub to Latin America, with 88 airlines serving 118 domestic and international destinations. ARINC expects its Miami office will greatly enhance its service to these customers and organizations.

South Florida is headquarters to the Latin America operations of American Airlines, IATA (International Air Transport Association), ALTA (Latin America Air Transport Association), and AIRBUS. In addition, it is the North American headquarters for many major Latin American carriers and aerospace-related enterprises.

ARINC recently reviewed its Miami expansion plans with 70 international airline and airport managers, most of whom are currently ARINC customers. The presentation projected ARINC’s accelerating growth in response to regional aviation expansion.
