ARINC Awarded Voice Equipment Contract by New York's Metro North Railroad

Annapolis, Maryland—Metro-North Railroad (MNR), one of the largest commuter railroads in North America, has selected ARINC Incorporated to design, furnish, and install new voice communications equipment for its rail operations dispatching functions.
ARINC will supply electronic voice switching and dispatch consoles manufactured by Zetron, Inc. of Redmond, Washington.
The work is part of a comprehensive refreshment of the railroad’s communications and control systems infrastructure. The installation is scheduled for completion in late 2008.
