ARINC Awarded Equipment Contract by New York MTA Metro North Railroad

Annapolis, Maryland—Metro-North Railroad (MNR), one of the largest commuter railroads in North America, has selected ARINC Incorporated to design, furnish, and install new hardware equipment for a control system.

ARINC will supply commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) electronic computing hardware as specified in the contract award under the railroad’s RFP. Equipment installation is scheduled to be complete by mid-2008. ARINC’s work is part of a comprehensive refreshment of the railroad’s control systems infrastructure.
