Rockwell Collins and ARINC Sign Agreement for Broadband OfferingJune 5, 2007SKYLinkSM to Provide Broadband Connectivity for Rockwell Collins’ eXchangeTM Cedar Rapids, Iowa/Annapolis, Maryland–Business jet passengers will soon be better connected than ever with the reintroduction of Rockwell Collins eXchangeTM broadband connectivity offering, featuring ARINC SKYLinkSM’s highly successful broadband network service. Under the terms of a new agreement with ARINC, Rockwell Collins will supply airborne broadband hardware and after-sales support, while ARINC SKYLink will provide the Ku-band satellite service. Coupled with the SKYLink satellite service, eXchange customers will have access to the Internet and corporate intranet (VPN), e-mail, a flat-rate Voice over IP (VoIP) global telephone service, videoconferencing capability and more. Coverage for eXchange using the SKYLink service is currently available in North America and Europe, with North Atlantic coverage to be added soon. Further international coverage expansion is planned for the Caribbean and portions of South and Central America.
