ARINC Managed Services Opens New Headquarters

Annapolis, Maryland—After a little more than four productive years in which the company grew sales 450%, added over 400 customer support locations across North America, launched a new division, and started international initiatives, ARINC Managed Services, LLC, will formally dedicate its new headquarters building just outside Annapolis, Maryland, on Monday, October 30, 2006 at an Open House ceremony.

Starting with only one contract, ARINC Managed Services (AMS) now manages over 30 projects including passenger check-in and security systems at over 20 airports in North America (such as BWI), radio systems for the TSA at all 442 airports across the U.S., and has become the largest IT services provider for airports in Canada.  “The critical components of our success have been our responsiveness and experience in providing support for mission critical systems and our extremely passionate and industry-savvy employees,” said Jim L. Martin, Senior Director, AMS.

Established as a division in 2001 and launched as a subsidiary in 2004, AMS has been able to successfully leverage the years of experience and the technical expertise of its parent company, ARINC, Incorporated, a leading provider of transportation communications and systems engineering solutions.

The company’s new headquarters building is on Mitchells Chance Road in Edgewater Maryland. Built by Waverly Construction for Annapolis Developers with AMS as the prime tenant, it is a 48,000 square foot 4-story facility which offers plenty of room for growth.
