The company’s 20,000-square-foot facility can now provide maintenance service for the majority of modern business jet aircraft, in addition to the avionics integration, instrument and accessory overhaul and repairs which the repair station has provided for several years. “Expanded Certification significantly enhances our Avionics, DAS (Designated Alteration Station), Instrument and Accessory overhaul capabilities at Colorado Springs,” stated Craig Bevington, ARINC Aircraft Services Marketing Director. “We can make it dramatically easier and more convenient for customers to obtain critical aircraft repairs and maintenance now, with a minimum of downtime.” ARINC Direct maintenance capabilities at COS currently extend to more than 50 types of aircraft, ranging from large business jets to single engine piston aircraft. The facility can provide most levels of inspections for Raytheon, Bombardier, Cessna, and Gulfstream aircraft, as well as Learjet 20, 30, 40, 55, and 60 series. “Expanded Certification will also allow us to perform heavy maintenance and service work on a fast-track basis when our customers require it,” added Wayne Turnquist, ARINC Director, Aircraft Services. “We’re responding to a market need expressed by many corporate customers, while building on the integration expertise we have come to be known for.” ARINC Direct Aircraft Services Colorado Springs is a premier integration and maintenance center for light, corporate, and regional aircraft. The COS facility is FAA part 145 certified to provide maintenance, Class 1, 2, 3, and 4 Instrument and Class 2 Accessory service.
