ARINC Direct^SM Now Offers SKYLink^SM Broadband Installation at Scottsdale and Colorado Springs FAA-Certified Repair Stations

Annapolis, Maryland—ARINC Direct^SM today announced its industry-leading SKYLink^SM satellite broadband solution for business jets is available for customers at the company’s two FAA-certified repair stations at Colorado Springs, CO, and Scottsdale, AZ. Both ARINC Direct facilities will provide full service including SKYLink sales, installation, STCs, and SKYLink kits for other qualified repair stations. 

SKYLink by ARINC Direct is the world’s leading high-speed network solution for business jets. Fully proven and in use for more than 18 months, a SKYLink connection gives business jet operators seamless high-speed Internet connectivity and corporate Intranet service from the airport ramp to cruising altitudes.

The ARINC Direct stations currently have full capability for installations on Bombardier Challenger, Global Express, Cessna Citation X, Gulfstream GIV, GIV-SP, G400, GV, G500, and G550, and Dassault Falcon 50, 900 and 2000 series aircraft. The on-site engineering staff includes Designated Engineering Representatives (DERs) and Designated Airworthiness Representatives (DARs) who are dedicated to STC work, electrical and structural engineering. As an FAA-authorized Designated Alteration Station (DAS), ARINC Direct has the ability to issue STCs on new avionics, airframe and engine installations.

SKYLink by ARINC Direct is faster, smaller, lighter, more efficient, and less costly than other airborne networking solutions. Designed expressly to meet the needs of corporate jets, SKYLink allows business aviation passengers to stay connected with data speeds in excess of 3 megabits per second (Mbps), even at 48,000 feet.
