Jet Aviation Palm Beach to Distribute SKYLink^SM; Will Offer Satellite Broadband System for Customer Jets

Annapolis, Maryland—ARINC Incorporated and Jet Aviation Palm Beach today announced a sales and distribution agreement for ARINC’s SKYLink^SM satellite broadband technology. Jet Aviation will offer the ultra-high speed satellite broadband solution to customers of its completions and refurbishment services.

SKYLink by ARINC Direct is the world’s first satellite broadband service for business aircraft. It transforms the corporate jet into an “office in the sky,” with in-flight access to high-speed Internet, e-mail, Voice-over-IP (VoIP), and private corporate networks. SKYLink service is already available across North America, and service is anticipated this year in Europe, the Middle East, and on the North Atlantic flight tracks.

Jet Aviation plans to offer clients SKYLink retrofits on aircraft starting immediately. Installation will be available on most medium and large cabin corporate jet aircraft.

Jet Aviation Palm Beach is one of the company’s major completions and refurbishment centers, and serves the North and South American markets. The facility consists of 1.2 million square feet of hangar, office, workshop, and ramp space. The location has an in-house paint facility and a state-of-the-art completions department, offering upholstery, re-foaming, carpeting, woodworking and sheet-metal repairs. Jet Aviation Palm Beach provides aircraft maintenance and avionics services and is a Dassault Falcon Jet and an Embraer Legacy Service Center. The location has expertise in Gulfstream, Falcon, Bombardier and Hawker aircraft and is an FAA approved repair station (# EYKR782D) that holds EASA 145, Brazilian DAC and Bermuda DCA approvals.
