ARINC is the Interface Control Contractor for the United States Air Force GPS Wing (GPSW). ARINC produces, among many other GPS documents, IS-GPS-200 and IS-GPS-705 which are the Interface Specifications defining characteristics of and data for the GPS L1, L2, and L5 Signals in Space (SIS).

ARINC supports the GPSW in developing advanced GPS concepts, including new civil and military SIS, differential GPS (DGPS), and precision approach and landing. ARINC is also the developer of the Systems Effectiveness Model (SEM), which is used by the military as a mission planning tool and for GPS performance analysis.
